At the beginning of this annual fund giving year, which began on September 1, 2015, we set a goal to receive $10,000 from 75 donors. So far, we are roughly 73% of the way to our goal with $7,335 from 55 donors. This is the last month to make a donation to the 2015-16 annual fund and have your name added to the Honor Roll. Please consider making your donation today. Click below for five reasons why you should give back to Lambda Iota Chapter.

Fijis love to say “Phi Gamma Delta is not for college days alone.” Dan Murphy ’78 and Mike Dilts ’79 are living proof of that. The dynamic duo started off as Brothers in Lambda Iota Chapter and actually ended up working together with Dan as the CFO and Mike as President.

“I thought it would be nice to show how we both ended up in the Fiji house in the mid ‘70s and today have developed a great working relationship because of that bond we created back in the days we spent together in the Fiji house,” Dan said.

Phi Gamma Delta is dedicated to developing men of character within the academic setting, with the aim that they will become fully contributing members of society. However, most outsiders looking in only see the unfortunate crack in the foundation of what fraternities really do and stand for depicted in the news. For those of us, though, who were fortunate enough to become a member of a fraternity, to dedicate ourselves to becoming honorable men dedicated to Friendship, Knowledge, Service, Morality and Excellence, it is easy to see the honor and the rewards of pledging Fiji.

We asked each of you, “Would you encourage your own son to join our fraternity?” Click below to share your answers and see what your brothers had to say.
