Know Any Good Ghost Stories?
Every university in America has folklore. There have always been stories about haunted libraries and apparitions wandering the dorms. Purdue is no different and there is no other time of year better suited to share these stories and legends than October. With Halloween right around the corner, we want to ask if any of you have any scary or unexplained stories from your days at Purdue.
A simple Googling of "Purdue ghost stories" will bring up all kinds of spindly tales about haunted places near Purdue University. Just to name a few spooky Purdue legends; there is the ghost of Brud Meyer wandering the grounds of Meyer Manor, the noises heard coming from Harrison Cemetery at night, a CRAZY legend about a bathroom at the Pythian Home and of course the ghostly roar of the Stone Lions fountain.
