I have just celebrated my 90th Birthday on August 13th. Also, I was accepted into the Sons of the American Revolution in 2020. My FIJI experience was so important because friendships and fellowship from that time were "Not for College days alone”. Our class got together almost every year up until a few years ago. In 2002 18 of us and wives had a 3 day reunion in Naples, Florida. What FUN!!!!

My favorite place to go in West Lafayette was the Kappa Alpha Theta House as that was where my fiancée and future wife of 60 years lived. Another favorite for me was "The Wabash Restaurant" for $1.50 a you could get a great steak dinner. During my time in college I also engaged with the Student Union as I was on the Senior Board as Senior Executive after being very active there all four years.

An update on me would be just living through Covid-19 for 7 months, career is winding down at age 78. Have had a wonderful life traveling with wife when opportunities allowed. I was exposed to outstanding future leaders and learning tolerance of those from many different backgrounds during my time at Purdue.

I thoroughly enjoyed FIJI island and homecoming.  It was fun to turn the house in to an entirely different environment. Homecoming brought the campus alive with decorations in front of housing units. Basketball games with fraternity brothers were so much fun to watch; up to five members of the house played.
