For Bob Dietrick ’77, Lambda Iota at Purdue was the birthing place of lifelong friendships that still go strong today and great moral values to live by. Imagine his surprise when his son, Bo (’12), attended Purdue, but with no intentions of joining Lambda Iota. In fact, he insisted on breaking away from that path. It was Bo who was shocked, though, when he realized that Lambda Iota was actually the perfect place for him and chose to carry out his legacy at Fiji Purdue.
We sat down with Bob and Bo to compare the chapter from both of their times as actives and to see how the legacy bond brought the two of them closer together.
