Justin Steill ’99 Finds Philanthropic Motivation through FIJI

Unbeknownst to him at the time, Justin Steill’s decision to join Phi Gamma Delta in 1996 has led him to a point in his life where giving back is daily motivation. As a real estate agent, Justin finds joy in helping people every day.

“I own a Real Estate company called Homes With Steill,” he says. “My team covers Indianapolis and surrounding areas. I enjoy helping people and families find the right home for them.”

But Justin isn’t just helping those around him—he is making a difference hundreds of miles from home.

Paying Tribute to the Brothers Lost This Past Year

At our pig dinner back in February, we paid tribute to the life of distinguished alumnus Eugene A. Cernan ’56. As we look towards the fall semester and recruiting the next generation, we’d like to take a moment to recognize Cernan once more and the two other “brothers who were, but are now with the stars.”

Andrew Redinger ’88 was a Phi Gam at Heart Long Before Attending Purdue

For many freshmen interested in joining a fraternity, the sheer number of options alone may seem overwhelming. But for Andrew Redinger ’88, his decision to join Phi Gamma Delta was an easy one, made well before arriving at Purdue.

“My dad (Jim Redinger '59) and uncle (Tom Redinger '54) were both Purdue Phi Gams,” he explains. “The countless Fiji stories told and the strong friendships they made during their years at 640 Russell made me want to become part of Phi Gamma Delta in the worst way!”
